As anyone used tubular control arms on a 3/4 ton?

I don't see why you cant, unless the ball joint won't fit in the 3/4 spindle.
And I don't know about the wall thickness for the weight carrying capability.

They are old technology that has an inferior design by allowing the spring pocket to hang too low. With 15 or 16 inch wheels that spring pocket will cause scrub line issue in the event of a front flat tire. Drop spindles and or drop springs would be my choice.
