64 C10 in Virginia
I've followed and used this forum over the years and learned a lot. Now, I'm semi settled and will be putting together a 64 C10 again. First time was just to get it on the road. It has/had a 327 and 700-R4 in it. Engine is going in another project. Plans for this build are a vortec 350 with a traditional spin; finned valve covers, carb, Tru rams and an Impala air cleaner. Keeping the 700-R4 but changing the rear gearing to 3.42 posi. I'm in the process of ordering some Porterbuilt goodies. I don't want to chop the truck up but I want air and it's benefits. Interior will sport a 59 Chevy steering wheel, 63 Pontiac Wildcat buckets and a jump seat. I'm looking to put a BBW in but will see. I'm moving the gas tank out of the cab, thinking of putting in a power antenna and custom tail lights (59 Caddie?). Probably put 1 inch whitewall and Supremes. That's it for now.
