Post media or soda blast?

I am getting to the point of needing to strip off all the old paint and was wondering if any one has had a truck soda blasted? I have had media done before, but ever baking soda. Would like to here from those who have had soda blasting done.

I have a couple friends who have had soda blasting. They speak so well of it that I'm going to get it done next week. I'll post about it then.

I almost bought a soda blaster to start my own business. I was that impressed with it.
You can actually strip your paint in layers if you want. Have you gotten an estimate on what it is going to cost yet? I plan on having mine done too.

They said $300 for whole truck inside and out. The media blaster guy said the same. Think thats a good price or should I keep shopping? Seems ok to me..

I had some doors soda blasted, works great, don't even have to remove or mask the glass or chrome. It polishs them up real nice, no pitting of the metal,$300 is well worth it.

myname, From what I have been hearing on the board, $300 for the whole truck is a steal!! Hey, I was out in Caldwell a couple weeks ago. Seems like I saw a dealership in town when I was drivind through, that had a bunch of 67-72 trucks for sale. I saw a lot of 67-72 trucks out there while I was visiting out there. I'm tempted to drive out there to look for one to buy. Do you see many around for sale? Darren
