72 Burb Barn Doors for Sale or Trade...

Its not gonna be feasable to install these barn doors Ive got, on my burb, so theyre up for sale $200.00 PLUS shipping or trade for a GOOD (comparable) set of hatch/gate doors. These barn doors are in great condition with I believe just one small dent on the lower corner of one door. I bought them with a little surface rust on them, and have started cleaning them up and stripping off the old weather strip. I have all the hard ware that came with them too. Will get pics of them up soon if anyones interested.
Thanks
junk

Hello Junk,

I have been looking for a decent hatch set-up for a suburban since I saw your post about wanting to trade those doors. Most of the ones I have seen were too rusty. Will let you know if I come accross any.

Question Why can't you get them on?

I want to convert my 71 to barn doors, so I am curious why you can't use these. Is it a 71/72 mismatch thing, or something unique to your burb?

Hey Ernie!!! Long time no see!! PM'd ya

Subman, Its not that I CANT use them or make them fit. They will go on my Burb just fine. IF, I knew how to get them on and swap all the hardware. I cant have my truck down for more than a couple days, so I dont wanna take off my old doors and then not beable to get the barn doors on. Sticking with the gate/hatch like I have now will just simplify things for me.

OK, next question. If you have a gate/hatch, why do you want to trade for one? I ask because I have a good hatch, but my tailgate has some 'bondo issues'. If you want to trade, let me know and I can send some pics.

mdill... Its gonna take me a couple days to get pics up, were right in the middle of moving, will get them ASAP.

Subman, my hatch/gate set is shot, LOTS of rust. I need both. The barn doors I have are in really good shape, almost zero rust. And Id rather trade for the same, I dont wanna deal with dents, holes or bondo...

Thanks y'all

Sorry, I don't have a hatch setup to trade,
I am interested in the barn doors as a replacment
for the set on my truck, the ones on it have
more bondo than what I would like, hence my
interest.

I am not in any rush, so when you get around to
the pictures that is fine, my burb is in its
winter parking spot and wount come out untill
spring.

Thanks Mike D.
