Re: Gmc dually
Sure, 1 tons usually in the 133 or 157'' wheel base for either the camper industry or as a service truck. They usually came off the line as just a cab and chassis and went their respective ways

Re: Gmc dually
But to be clear, not with a box from the factory. Cab and chassis only, right?

Re: Gmc dually
No box with the duals until the square body and the fat fenders

Re: Gmc dually
The only factory body offered on a C/30 dual rear wheel option truck was a stake body/flatbed. I believe '72 was the last year for that tradition. Dually is a name we the people have coined for trucks with dual rear wheels. To some that's just a pickup. This all comes from the introduction of the new dual rear wheel pickups as "Big Dooleys", a take-off on the name of a well known outlaw/folk hero, Tom Dooley. That became dually and now describes any truck with dual rear wheels.
