External Gas Tank Install
Anyone use anti-squeek material when mounting an external metal gas tank. That would be between the straps & tank and between yhe tank flang & frame. If so, what type of material did you use? The GM Assembly Manual makes reference to this material, but none of the auto parts stores I've talked to know anything about it?

I just cut some material from a rubber panel I had in the garage. I think it's an old mud flap from a semi, but it worked for me.

You can use the rubber from an old inner tube, cut to size, into strips and double them
