Muffler inlet/outlet offset question
I'm going with the spintech Prostreet 6000 mufflers. I know these mufflers aren't very big, 4X6X12, and will most likely work with any offset I get, but I'm sure there is an optimal choice. I've seen many with offset inlet, and centered outlet. Also center in and center out. What would you guys choose?

Re: Muffler inlet/outlet offset question
It's really a question of how you're going to lay out your exhaust system and what works best with that.

Re: Muffler inlet/outlet offset question
Very true. I think I'm going to make a cardboard muffler and mock it up. It's going on a 68 swb with trailing arms. I guess I should have mentioned that in the first post.

Re: Muffler inlet/outlet offset question
Center in/offset out seems to help position the muffler in the best place for routing pipe IME.
