Flywheel squeezing sound
For a while my 67' 250 i6 has been making this metal on metal sqweeking noise for a few months now. But today I've noticed the sound goes away when I have the clutch pedal pushed/engaged. Thought it could of been the crank or cam somewhere not getting enough oil, but now I seriously have no clue. Why is that?

Re: Flywheel squeezing sound
What the man above said. Sounds like the throw out bearing. My GMC did it once in awhile.
