55 1st rear view mirror w/headliner

Wondering if anybody has a 54/55 with headliner and rear view mirror ? I have a rod doors 1 piece headliner and I don't know where the mirror mounts-- I have the bracket and mirror, but no holes in dash or windshield frame to guess where it goes. Would the headliner interfere with the mirror bracket ?

Re: 55 1st rear view mirror w/headliner

My '55 1st series did not come with a rear view mirror in the cab. I had to drill a couple holes for the mirror attachment. The mirror is mounted forward of the headliner and aft of the windshield rubber seal. It is close to the windshield rubber seal. Hope the helps.
