What is this line?
Going into the intake between the dist and carb. Hard line. Is it necessary? Pcv?

Re: What is this line?
Looks like it could be for trans vacuum modulator. also that barb on the back of the carb should g to the brake booster or plug it off if you want it to run right. Just in case you didn't know

Re: What is this line?
Hugger is right, on both points. You need the vacuum modulator to shift correctly, and you truck would have a lot of hesitation problems with that direct vacuum port unplugged.

Re: What is this line?
Thanks guys. I have a new edelbrock intake to put on. Was hoping to use that port for booster vacuum. Oddly enough I put that brass fitting in the adapter hoping to get vacuum for the booster and there's no vacuum there. Not sure why but I'm not going to worry about it since I'll be replacing the intake anyway.
