RHD conversion 1965 C10

Hi,

I am new to this forum and have just purchased a 1965 C10 that I will be importing into Australia and i will be converting it to RHD so it can be a daily driver. I was wondering if there are RHD firewalls or dashboards available that would help with the conversion?

Any help would be great.

Regards

BM

Welcome from Texas!

I don't think there is a "kit", but I'm sure you can use some donor parts to convert.

Good luck!!

Re: RHD conversion 1965 C10

I don't think they made RHD 1965 C10s from the factory so tracking a donor might be difficult unless I use another LHD and modify. Do you know if they make a power steering unit for RHD as the current LHD won't work?

Regards

Get a PS Gear for a car as they mount on the inside of the frame ( on RHD truck it would mount on the out side right) A gear like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cardone-27-6...5XOzyT&vxp=mtr

Hi Brett, why do you need to convert it? Here in Vic my 64 left hook is a daily with full reg. In most states a vehicle doesn't need to be converted if its 30 years older or older.

That is the same in SA but I would really prefer to have a RHD as my daily driver. I have a corvette that is LHD.

Are you by chance getting a RHD dropmember made by porterbuilt?
