WTB - Front lower hood corners

Mine are rotten and it looks like a separate panel that is spot welded in.

Nobody seems to make these patch panels.

It also appears that, that section is the same on all 60-66 hoods.

If someone has a hood that is trashed but still has those corners in good condition, perhaps they can cut them out before the weld points and I can do the delicate work of separating them from the other part of the hood.

Thanks,
Scott

note: it looks like I stole a picture of markeb01 truck..it's what came up on google images.

I have a 62-66 hood I can cut but I don't know if they are the same.

From what I can tell from photos, they are the same..but perhaps someone else can chime in on it.

If they are, I'd be most thankful if you cut them out before the seam and ship them my way.

Just let me know the parts cost/your effort + shipping to 78757.

Thanks!

I might have a 60-61 GMC hood that I can cut up. Can you mask off the exact sections you need and post pics?

both sides of these, but before the seams, so I can clean up the seams here.

Thanks!

Re: WTB - Front lower hood corners

I will cut them out this week if needed but they look rounder.

Ugh....you might be right. Mine seem to be different, if I remember, they are actually their own autonomous pieces. :-/

I guess I'm limited to 60-61 "eyebrow" hoods (or whatever the nickname is).

Thanks for looking LT1Burb!

I guess I can defer to 1960chevypanel...if his donor hood is of the eyebrow variety.

Also, LT1Burb, if you went to the trouble of cutting those pieces out already, man, thanks a bunch. I apologize that I didn't know they were different.

I didn't but no worries, I have a couple of these fronts as I used a repop on mine.

Just don't cut into those hoods....shortstep60 PM'd me and cut a pair out yesterday.

I was actually coming on here today to tell you that.

Thanks for looking though. Super appreciated.
