Transmission Crossmember
Hi I'm in the process of building a 64 c20 it's going to be bagged and I want to lay frame and I plan to keep the the manual 4 speed trans that's in it.
Has anyone modified the trans crossmember so It doesn't go below the frame or is there a company that makes one? |

Re: Transmission Crossmember
Depending on what you want to do, a flat bar or a tube can be built to suit your needs. For example the one I built for my 62 and TKO 600

Re: Transmission Crossmember
Yeah I was talking about the Crossmember that mounts to the bell housing. I don't think a flat bar style will work with my trans because the parking brake is on the output shaft of the transmission.
