Talking MZ Edna......56 Chevy

I have the 56 here to work on and drive for a while. My dad and I bought this car back in July this year. Car was very nice no rust at all on it. The guy had already installed a 96 Corvette LT-1 with 4l60 over drive in it when we bought it. Disc brakes, I installed a sure fit AC/heater back in August in it. The car runs like a top and is very nice inside and out. Just have some small things to do to it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

When I was a senior in high school, 1958-59, my good friend's father bought him a 56 BelAir just like that. I thought he was the luckiest guy in town, LOL.

Ok another few small mods done. One key fits everything now in the 56.
I changed out all the locks ignition, trunk, glove box and both doors!

The windows have all been took apart cleaned and relubed and are working nice again.

Oh yea the side mirrors are ordered. The drivers side fell off the other night when I shut the door and broke!

Now to move on to the rear end noise.

Edna is a good looking 56. Do you know the history on the car?

Re: MZ Edna......56 Chevy

Swapped out the miss matched dash knobs for new matching billet one today. Also put a new heat/AC lens in.

Unhappy Re: MZ Edna......56 Chevy

I dropped off MZ Edna yesterday to have the whole rear end rebuilt. I think it has a pinion bearing going out so the whole rear end is being redone by a very experienced mechanic who is a good friend also.
I wanted to do a posy unit while we had it a part but dad didn't want to spend the money.
