67 c10 with 73 spindles
I know the ball joints will have to be changed in the 67 arms. I know the outer tie rods will need to be changed also. My question is if I get all the steering components from a 73 will it fit my pitman arm. I already have power steering so I'm not looking to change pitman arm.

I take you are from Whitley City KY which is a ways south of Somerset. Been to Somerset and that is a hike from Cincy. Maybe you can gain something from these old threads

Re: 67 c10 with 73 spindles
I still have the 5/8" LH die. Hope it works out, if not PM me.

Much appreciated. I have a decent tap and die set. So I can take a 73 outer and re thread for my purpose from what I read. Sounds easy enough. Might give that a try. I've got a line on a whole crossmember, but I really wasn't looking to pull the engine at the moment.

You shouldn't have to re-thread anything.

Re: 67 c10 with 73 spindles
Look at the drum to disc conversion thread at the top of the Sudpension Section.

Re: 67 c10 with 73 spindles
I've looked at these threads till I'm blur in the face. That thread is what prompted my question about whether the pitman arm was the same.
