i know its a dana 60 but i dont know out of what ?

i have the tag off the axle
it says
3.73 d5ta jlb
603581-5

there is supposed to be somewhere that you can decode this but i cant find it.
i'm assuming 3.73 means 373 gear ratio but i am not for sure. i would like to use this axle in my truck instead of my 12 bolt

GM didn't put Dana 60s in the rear of our trucks... That's a non-GM axle.

Since you have the BOM number (bill of materials), search for BOM Dana 60 on google and you can probably find out what the original appication is.
