Let's see your C20 8 lug 20 inch wheels!
Ok guys and gals, I am trying to get ideas for a 72 C20 for 20 inch wheels. Anybody on here with a 3/4 ton in the 67-72 8 lug realm with 20 inch wheels so I can get ideas of looks and manufacturers? Please no pics of anything smaller than 20 inch and no bigger. I know there are all kinds of options for 8 lug wheels out there but sadly there doesn't seem to be many people going the 20 inch route with these classics. Not sure why. Other years are welcome too, but would specifically like to see the 67-72's. Thanks!

Re: Let's see your C20 8 lug 20 inch wheels!
Awesome build! Good to see someone not doing the typical C10 build. And even more rare to see a C20 build with aftermarket wheels bigger than stock. I like the tire size as well. Not too little sidewall or too much. I'm going with a wider wheel setup with a negative offset myself. Something in the 20x9 -18ish front and 20x12 -44 possibly in the rear. With the Dana 60 do you know if the axle width is skinny enough to hold a -44 and not stick out past the bedside? I'm not tucking the wheels, only lowering it down to remove any gap between the rubber and fender.
This is the look on wanting, but with a better negative offset. Wish I could find out more info on this guys truck and wheel info. |

Sounds like a lot of negative offset to me. Mine are +18 if you go to a -44 thats 3.22" farther out not figuring in the 12" wide wheel. I'd say that will stick out way past your bedside.

Ok, I can't believe nobody else has 20s on their c20, so I'm up for seeing some 18s if you have em. Again, nothing smaller than 18 because that's the smallest I would go. Thanks!

Ya I'm more of the stock look but nice wheels kinda guy. Like the half sleeper look. I would love to put some bigger rally style wheels if somebody would make a set of them in an 8 lug bigger than 15 or 16 inch. Sounds like a new market idea for wheels if someone had the money to start it. I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there that don't like the completely stock boring look.

I've got a 3/4 ton and am happy to show you the 16.5s or the 17s even, but no 20s!

Re: Let's see your C20 8 lug 20 inch wheels!
Thanks for the quick response but no thanks I already have 16s. I'm going with a 20 x12 in the rear and need to know what will fit without sticking out too far.

That's more like it! What are the specs? Offset, and still have the Dana 60?

@thehata1 - what rear axle do you have, and what offset/width wheels did you order for front and rear?
That spacing under the fenders is perfectly matched front and rear! |

I appreciate the feedback. It was a roll of the dice how they would turn out. I have the Dana 60. Wheels are 9 inches wide with a 4 inch backspacing on the rear and 5 inch on the front. |

Re: Let's see your C20 8 lug 20 inch wheels!
If you were to lower the rear to where the fenders sat just above the tires would you rub at all?
