Grand National Roadster Show 2017 - Tips Needed
I just got confirmation that my 1961 has been accepted into this show in Pomona this year for an inside exhibit in a 10' x 20' space...I think I may have bit off more than I can chew after looking at some of the other cars and builders online.
Has anyone ever done this show before? Do you guys have some tips or cool pictures you can share with me on how you or other guys have displayed their trucks at indoor shows? I've done a few outside shows in 2016 but nothing to this level. Tom

Congratulations on being invited to show. Your truck is really great.
Only advice to offer is to take at least two other people that are more nitpick cleaners than yourself. The extra eyes & attention to detail can only help. Good Luck!! |

A nice signboard with the trucks special features and maybe a binder with build pics is always good Good luck, and I'll look for your truck

nice truck I should have looked first never showed a truck but have many first place awards with motorcycles don't take away from your truck by overdoing your display attention to detail is very important they will be judging your truck not the display good luck

For the signboard find a local sign maker or shop, take your truck and they could probably make you a nice hand painted sign that matches your truck. Write up some of the features that you want to highlight. A knickname for the truck makes for a nice heading on the sign board.

Congrats, that's quite an honor! Good luck and have fun - I LOVE that show. I could spend days in the swap meet alone. Pics in Tom's build thread link in post 1 for those asking.
