69-72 73-76 lift kits...
Ok my question is what's the difference in these lifts, on the 69-72 I know they used the square type u-bolts in the back, are there differences in the front springs....my truck is a 72 frame but it has the newer u-bolts that bolt from the top like the later yrs not the square type...but if the front springs are the same then I can order the 73-76 lift...But I'm thinking the front springs are different maybe wider not sure anybody want to chime in and enlighten me...Thanks....

Re: 69-72 73-76 lift kits...
I had a 68 frame that I was looking to do the same thing, figuring it would be the cheapest way. But come to find out the difference in springs are width and length. If I remember right Sky Jacker is the only company out there still selling a complete spring lift.
If you have a big rig truck shop around I know they carry an assortment of U-bolts and some even custom make leaf springs. |

Re: 69-72 73-76 lift kits...
Yep that's what I figured, I guess that's why there 69-72 then 73-76 yada yada yada...It's weird that the 73-76 kits have the raised steering arm included with just a few more bucks than the 69-72 kits doesn't include the raised steering arm....I know they say there optional but I think you would really need it with a 4" lift...
