Turquoise?

In the five years of our trucks what is the closest stock color to turquoise? I think the closest Ive seen is a little more green, or a little more blue.

Im thinking more of the color that you could get on 57 Chevys.

Please post a pic if you have one in turquoise.

I have spots on my firewall that color where the paint chipped when I pressure washed it.

Re: Turquoise?

That's pretty close to turquoise. From all the searching Ive done on the board I think that medium green is the closet color Ive seen.

Great looking truck too.

Re: Turquoise?

This may be the color you mean. Its called turquoise poly and the single paint code is 511 and its 1969 only.

Re: Turquoise?

People always call Medium Green, or in earlier years Light Green, Sea Foam Green. Sea Foam is more of a green turquoise or light "agua". There was Terrace Blue and Aqua Poly and they both could be considered a turquoise. I dunno, agua/turquoise? Blue green/green blue? Bluish greenish blue/greenish.................

Re: Turquoise?

Im thinking like this color. I believe Livrat painted his last Blazer something close to this. Really hard to tell, when I do an image search the quality of the 57 pics is all over the board.

Re: Turquoise?

Mark, The wife's Blazer was painted 1958 Chevrolet "Tartan Turquoise" Which is a bit different than 1957 Tropical Turquoise.

I think that looks awfully close to 1967 503 light green. There are a couple of "Post your green truck" threads if you do a search you should locate them.

Ive been through every thread I could find, have a folder full of pics ... just wanted to actually ask instead of search in case I missed anything. I really like the 503 light green.

Re: Turquoise?

If GM Truck Light Green had just a drop of blue in it it would be turquoise.
