Speedo cable and oil pressure removal

Ok maybe I'm doing something wrong here...

Just unscrew speedo cable by hand?
Is there a lock but on the oil pressure line?

I can't get my fat face in there to see what's going on...

You must be referring to the back of the instrument cluster. Speedo cable nut should come off by hand or maybe pliers. I don't have an oil pressure gauge so can't help with that one. Mirror and flashlight?

What vehicle you got? Mine's a 66 250 4sp fleetside 3.07 but has a long way to go to be made pretty.

Re: Speedo cable and oil pressure removal

Oil pressure line is screwed in. About a foot down the oil pressure line is a coupling that you may be able to find. I use a 3/8 wrench and just unnscrew the line. It can be a pain. The speedo will just unscrew but once the nut is off it may not want to pull back. It will come out the back when you slide the cluster out. You need to remove all the switches before trying to pull the cluster.
