Brothers push-on door seals

I'm wondering if someone here that has bought and installed brothers push-on door seals for our 67-72 trucks could please post a pic or 2 of them. I ordered mine during black friday deals and just got around to opening. They dont look anything like i think they should nor do they fit properly. I called and talked to them today/emailed pics and never got my return call that was supposed to be shortly after hanging up. Im almost positive they sent the wtong ones but would like to see other pics before i can say 100%

Re: Brothers push-on door seals

I purchased mine from Brother's (thought it was CP's) during their Black Friday deals i think. Here are the few pictures i have on my 67, i can take more if needed. They came in a big Precision branded bag and were marked as the Push-on type by Brothers. The mitered corner used to be a little more noticeable and the lower drivers side corner binds some---

Things like this happen when you buy aftermarket "new style " parts .

Me too, I'm terrible with weather strip. I had to redo it and still not satisfied.

Re: Brothers push-on door seals

I called again this morning, somehow i guess their supplier sent '47 gm windlace labeled wrong, they had a new set in the mail by the end of the day today. I asked how i get the '47 windlace back to them and he said to keep it. They definitely took care of the problem...and with that said if anyone could use the '47 windlace let me know!

Here's a couple of pictures of the seals installed. This was before I put the doors back on. I have to look and see if I have a pic of the top front corner

Mid-90's -- I don't know the exact date range. The ones I got were from a '95 I believe. If you search Dodge Dakota on the board here, you'll find a number of references to folks using them, and I'm sure someone has posted the exact date ranges that work.

Could you post some pics of how they fit? Especially in the mitered corner.

85-95, they have no mitered corners but still fit very well. Dirt cheap at a junkyard.

Thanks! And yes, those are from the local pick-n-pull. They've had a nice, soapy bath since then...

Re: Brothers push-on door seals

I got my set of push-on seals from Dreamers Rods and Trucks in Everett, WA. Which is great for me because I can drive there to pick them up.

Yeah....I too have heard about those Dodge Dakota door seals being a better fit for our trucks than what is out there now being supplied as 'original'.
