Stock Bolt Fitting
78 k5 Blazer 2wd
Does this pic look like the stock front shock mount stud/bolt? I am replacing shocks with Napa Response #94021 but the bolt does not fit through the top rubber bushing. The old shocks (Monroe Magnum 6817- white shock in pic) have the larger hole. Napa pulled the 94021 as a match for my truck. Thanks. |

Re: Stock Bolt Fitting
The rear shocks usually have the metal sleeve. OR remove the sleeve. Did they interchange the shock numbers?

Re: Stock Bolt Fitting
I looked online on Napa and it appears the only option they have for k5 blazer is for 4wd- part #94021. Mine is 2wd. They have a "C10 Blazer" category which does show a different shock (along with new bolt hardware which mine didn't come with). I am guessing I bought the 4wd front shocks?
