Cab corner install question

ok look at the picture below. This is a 14 gauge chunk of metal that was between the cab corner support and the cab floor. Is this factory? IT sure doesn't look normal to me. This was in the passenger side and there is something similar in the driver side. See second picture. The yellow arrow is the floor. The red is the weird chunk of metal, and the blue is the cab floor support. I really hope this is not factory because I didn't put it in the passenger side.

Re: Cab corner install question

Looks like a patch someone made to repair the cab supports. Not factory.

Re: Cab corner install question

Yes that would be considered the rear floor extension. Floor and inner rocker combined. The holes would bolt to the rear cab support. The other picture you have it looks to be rotted away. When I did mine I ordered it in one piece which is the inner rocker and 4" of floor front to back. Hopefully that makes sense.

Re: Cab corner install question

I believe this patch panel includes that piece. It looks like someone may have made up a patch for it in the past.
