Re: Dark Blue Trucks

Are you talking factory color? If so, what year? There were different shades in different years. The one from 67-70 is actually dark blue, like a navy blue. Then there was the 71/72 dark blue that is a medium blue but they also had a shade lighter blue they called medium so they called the other dark

This color is Imperial Blue from the 2011 Chevy Camaro's. Looks black until you get it in the sun.

Re: Dark Blue Trucks

One I archived probably aound 2004/2205. Think it was from the Maryland area. I always liked the look of the dark blue with the 17 inch ImpalaSS rims.

Poking around the IMac I found this 67 too, and just love the stance and look of the truck and the Boyd Coddington rims againt the dark blue paint.

This was my workhorse for 20 years, hauling boats, cabinets and counters, portable daycare . Everyday driver
Was originally white and I painted Ford blue of all colors.
1992 GMC Sierra.
Lent it to a friend "be careful, I love this truck" he rear ended a UPS truck!!' Urgh! Let it go and bought my now beloved 1970 c10
