Need a Cage Nut

Hi Gang,

One of the factory tack welded nuts on the driver’s side door latch has come off. I can use a cage nut to replace it, but everywhere I look I can only buy a box of 25 or a pack of 12 anywhere from $21.00 to $27.00 Would anybody have a spare ¼-20 cage nut? I’m will to pay, I just can’t see buying 12-25 and only needing one.

I can get them from Lowes, Hillman, etc. but only is large quantities.

Some of the truck catalogs sell them. I think in 2 or 4 packs.

I got mine from Fastenal but had to wait for them to be shipped from south of the border.

if you have an extra door you can use one of the cage nuts that that the armrests screws go into
