91 guage cluster ?
So the last 3 4l80/205 setups I've parted out or acquired had the guage clusters still in the trucks or came with the parts. What was odd is all 3 of them didn't have the O.D. in front of Drive on the PRNDLL indicator. Now 2 of my previous 91 crew cabs had the 4l80 and had the O.D. indicated in front of drive. 1 was 2wd. Was it a 2wd vs 4wd thing? surely not? were they early vehicles and used the standard Prndll with the electronic speedo? I'm about to purchase another 91 V3500 srw and it has the standard PRNDLL in it??
Any one with some CONCRETE info would you please elaborate. I know there are a few 91 V3500's on here. Thanks as always.

Re: 91 guage cluster ?
Owned 2 91 v3500s so far, both have the OD position marked on the indicator. I'd have to check, but I believe even the cluster I purchased from you has the OD spot. (I'm sure most already know this, but it takes about a minute to swap the indicator from d to an OD one)

Re: 91 guage cluster ?
The last cluster I sold didn't have the OD on it. It was from a 91 V3500 electronic speedo.
I hear ya on the prndll swap. Why would someone swap it out? especially on the last few I've had and the one i'm about too purchase? Did the 90-91 blazer/suburbans with the NP241c use any th350 or th400 by chance? Those would of utilized the electronic speedo cluster with no OD in the lineup. That's why I was curious if some early units used these clusters without the OD? Things that make ya go

Re: 91 guage cluster ?
LOL I just ran across another 91 V3500 Dually with 83,xxx original miles untouched and it has no OD on the prndll??? Pretty odd i'd say. I just can't see that many clusters swapped out on just the ones I find. hahahaha

Re: 91 guage cluster ?
The one i'm getting .. yes. Thats the obvious! I'll chalk it up to I'm lucky in finding over 5 V3500's with the indicators swapped out.
