Not much space to work there huh? At least you did your engine swap on paved ground, when i did my engine swap from longhorn #1 into red turd GMC, it was in a dirt parking spot.

Yeah I got the 68 from 68_c10_on20's, and the engine was going in the 68 from the 72. I'll be done tonight early tomorrow at the latest.

Oh yeah, cherry pickers int he dirt...that's lots of fun.
Oh, the dirt was wet from the coolant drained in the grass too. (straight rust and water...no green stuff.)

Motor swaps rule!! especially in the dirt.. Makes finding those dropped bolts a bunch of fun. Makes me appreciate concrete, a/c, and heat!!

Check out my dumb a$$ neighbor doing a swap "curbside". Don't know how he pulled it off. Took him almost 3 months!!! Left a nice greasy mess. Great for the new development!!!

Steve kept the motor when he sold me the truck. I really didn't want it anyways, I wanted a SWB to bag later on and put my 385 in.

Lots more. The 385 dynoed in at 490hp. I am having a one piece Driveshaftg made tomorrow, so it'll be running tomorrow afternoon.
