LED light bar grille
Not sure if this is to everyones taste, but i figured id show off some pics of the grille I recently made for my 72 c10. It has a curved LED light bar set into it and i cut the plastic grille insert so i could flush the light it. It works great puts out tons of light and fits my truck perfectly. (side note ignore the piece of metal in the second photo it was just a shim in place for mock up)

Re: LED light bar grille
Wow. That looks pretty cool That would be a nice idea for a 69-70 to turn the middle grille section into a light and make it also functional turn signals.

Re: LED light bar grille
First glance I thought it was a 69 or 70 I bet that does shed some light on the road, but is it legal to run them on the road ? Seems like it would blind oncoming traffic.

Re: LED light bar grille
Blind and/or disorient, I would think. I'm curious about the legality as well.

Re: LED light bar grille
That looks great! I have 2 rigid flush mount sr4 units installed in a custom spoiler. They are hardwired for always on to act as both daytime running lights and supplemental fog lights. Unfortunately as asked above they were too bright. I used two layers of limo black tint along the top half to get them down to "dot". They still work good and no longer blind opposing traffic.

Re: LED light bar grille
Looks freakin awesome man ! I would do something like that .... Not every driving situation involves oncoming traffic . There's def a lot of times when I'd hit that switch and enjoy that light !

Re: LED light bar grille
I actually like it.
It would be slicker'n snot if the ends lit up as signals as mentioned and if the center lit up into a bowtie

Re: LED light bar grille
I love it! I also thought it was a 69-70. I was thinking about adding small ones above the turn signals on my 68.
