Found my older brother

in the parking lot where we have our shop, I noticed a truck. A lot like mine. Just a tad older. So of course had to take a few photos.

I did not meet the owner, but I met the guy who built it for him. It looks like a stock ride, but there is a LS under that hood. I guess the owner is a fire captain. truck is in for a little TLC. nothing too crazy the guys said. It is his daily driver.

Re: Found my older brother

Hi guys!
This is funny. I own old Caroline.
Yes she's a 50th anniversary that was bone stock with rebuilt 350 and th400.
I bought in South Carolina years back... hence the name.
She came stock with a speed minder and black interior despite most of these golden beauties having the white and gold buddy buckets.
A good buddy and I drove it cross country and I put the trip on our site...
Lots of amazing pics!
Truly an amazing sleeper truck.
And my guy Kevin slapped the 5.3 6spd combo.
Anyway, that's her. And I'm glad her sibling lives near by! Haha.
Cheers
Mo

Hi Mo, glad to meet you and Caroline. Kevin is a really cool guy and great builder. We have the shop at the other end of his building. We just use it to work on our own stuff and do powder coating. Mainly on Harley's. I pulled in on my bike and instantly saw your truck. I walked down and Kevin was like " wondering how it would take you to come down here" He told me the truck story and I was like Hell yeah. Next time I had my truck, there was an empty spot next to yours. end of story. If you are ever around and our door is open, stop on by.

Re: Found my older brother

Small world indeed. I always like putting mine next to others no matter how close a match. "We are family. Got all my brothers and me"

I built a SWB 50th-ish-looking '68 and went with a black interior because that's what I had and it wasn't stock. Is that cab a swapped one? Looks like a cargo light filled in.
