Re: 1969 Chevy Truck

What is a "DUI/Revolt seizure"? I get the DUI part, but what's a "Revolt" in terms of someone getting their truck seized?

I wonder if they meant "Revoke" -- meaning that they drove with a DUI-revoked license and got their vehicle taken away.

I think so, if you look at the inventory ID on the auction it says "Revoke' not revolt.

Probably that auto spell check B.S. that always changes what you type.

Re: 1969 Chevy Truck

It is ok but I can't stand the wheels. Around these parts they are called dope dealer wheels because they are the only group that can afford them.

That might explain why the truck is where it is.

Re: 1969 Chevy Truck

We could make a game out of this. Guess what the top bid will be. I'll guess $6550. That's completely uneducated by the way.
And yes...I do not like those wheels.

Re: 1969 Chevy Truck

Around here I'm sure it happens all over, the "offender" would have a ringer go to the sale and try to buy back their stuff. It may not happen on regular stuff but on muscle cars that were being street raced around here long time ago some of those guys would have huge motors back then before it was common. They would try so hard to out do their friend they had crazy money in a car and it would cause them to send the ringers for the buy back attempt
