Six lug Dana 60-2 Semi Floater?
I bought a rear end from a local guy who claimed this Dana 60-2 (Dana 60 stamped into the webbing, 60-2 cast into the pumpkin at top) was from a 1963 Chevy pickup. Well, I'm pretty sure it would have been later than '63 but OK, 60's Chevy.
When I look at Rockauto, though, I only see the 60-1 full floating axle & a 60-3 mystery machine referenced in the parts catalog for Chevy or GMC. It looks like Jeep used the 60-2 but not, as far as I know, in a six lug semi float configuration. In any case I found a stamping "US PA 1968 XX XX" (x's are digits I forgot) which suggests it was made in Pennsylvania, 1968 - before Jeep went to six lug bolt patterns. Ford used a 60-2, I think maybe, but they didn't use six lugs. The axle has a 61" WMS to WMS width, give or take, and 12" drums. Can't find a BOM stamping anywhere. Anyone here have a better idea of what I've got on my hands? I just want to know how to find parts for this sucker because before I go to the work of putting it under my '57, I'd like to refresh the axle bearings & wheel cylinders.

Whoops - this shouldn't be in the project board. Mod, please move if you see this.
