2 Piece Driveshaft Spline Replacement

I am working on my 71 2WD. Shortened the frame and put in a 4-link suspension.

I took the original 2-piece driveshaft in to get shortened / rebuilt. The slip joint hadn't been greased in years and was seized. It took a lot of heat and hammer blows to get it apart. The shop is concerned the spline is going to have issues, but none of their suppliers have a replacement. Anyone know another source or have a decent used piece? I prefer to stick with the 2 piece (please - already plenty of debate out there in other threads) I did see POL sells a complete setup for about $700.
