Hydromatic transmission
Anyone know if these things are worth any money? I have an original 6 with what appears to be a stock 3spd with OD unit, all the original linkage and column to go with it. Im not going to use any of this, but some have said that the trans/linkage might be worth a bit. Anyone know if this is actually worth something?

Re: Hydromatic transmission
They are worth a lot to the person that is looking for one. Talk to a trans shop and they will act like it's value is determined by it's weight in scrap. Need one for your truck and the value goes up in a hurry. There is more to them as the transmission, flywheel, adapter plate, starter, linkage, and even frame crossmembers are different. Then GMC and Chevy parts are different. Oh yeah, column and shift indicators different obviously.
