Re: Anyone have Vision wheels on their square?
I was looking for some gray wheels when I stumbled across this thread. So I went to the Vision website to take a look. I was interested in the staggered look particularly--20x8.5s front with 20x10s rear. With this setup, the common suggestion is to go 4.5" backspacing on the front and 5.5" backspacing rear. Well, Vision has the fronts in those size but for the rear, they only offer 20x9.5" wheels with either a 5.25" or 5.75" BS . So that leaves me with the question, which backspacing should I use for the widest possible tire, give the best look and still tuck. I run 275-45-20s now, hope to eventually push 305s or 315s. My rear drop is somewhere in between 6 to 7" on a '86 short wheel base. I'm not sold on any particular wheel just yet. But was thinking, what if another wheel I do like comes only in the same type configurations? Any thoughts?

Re: Anyone have Vision wheels on their square?
For the 20x9.5 I would say the 5.25 backspacing which will put the tire and wheel a 1/4" more to the inside. Tucked a 1/4" more is what I meant. It will let you run a little bit more taller tire with a little bit more sidewall bulge and not rub. But of course that would still need to be verified.

Thanks Tetanus for the input. And MS2335 that's a good looking truck, is it yours?
