Random Pig Tail any clue what it's for?
1972 C10 402
This electrical pigtail runs off the main wire harness right by the firewall. I am not original owner and can't figure out what it's for any help would be appreciated.

Re: Random Pig Tail any clue what it's for?
Most likely it is a plug for one of the TCS relays used in late 70 through 72 trucks as part of the Emissions control system that most guys disconnected as soon as the trucks cleared the showroom floor.
TCS= transmission controlled spark. Here's a pic of the relays.
