Re: Got Color

I want to see more too, especially outside. I will be doing this someday, same color. Is the D99 stripe painted on or is it the factory strip?

Re: Got Color

Jocko, it's called GM Rain Forest Green. The gentleman doing the body and paint taped the stripe. 1/8 stripe, 1/4 space, 1/8 stripe. It imitates what was on the truck from the factory. Although that was 1/8 stripe, 5/8 space, 1/8 stripe. I can get the paint code for you if you want. Pin Stripes are silver, as are the letters on the tailgate.

Re: Got Color

Man, that looks great. The green/silver was a good choice.

No need on the code, I'm gonna go dark olive when the time comes, but yours looks quite close to dark olive, I must say. Maybe just a bit darker. Good call on a later mode GM color - I like that approach too. Your truck is looking beautiful, looking fwd to the finished product. The inset for the fuel door looks good, I'm not normally much on body mods, but I really like those for some reason, always thought they were a great addition for a tank relocation or saddle tanks. Very mild custom touch that looks like it was always there anyway - nice!
