Finally got my truck back from the paint shop....

Here are a few pics of the freshly painted truck. I must say I am happy with the color but I think it may be time for some new wheels.

Great paint, the wheels look sweet too. No need for change IMO.

Color looks great...maybe just put a fatter tire on the rear?

Exactly what I was thinking. Either way, no need to be unsatisfied with those wheels on that truck. Looks great.

Beautiful truck but I'm gonna be the first to say different wheels would look better. I never liked those style wheels anyhow.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Finally got my truck back from the paint shop....

Thanks guys! I have 275 in the rear and I barely clear the bed side so i don't think a bigger tire is an option for me. They had it for 3 weeks. I like the rims and haven't even had them for a year yet but think I may have to post them on CL and look for some billets.

Looking good.

If we're picking on rims, how about a cheap fix? 1.5" spacers for rear wheels, paint the whole wheels or maybe just the centers dark, get some taller and fatter tires on the rear.

Where can I get some spacers and I thought spacers are not safe?

I had to run 1" on my rears. Measured wrong. They actually bolt on the axle then the wheel bolts to the spacer. We ran 1/2" spacers on a drag love truck running 5.30s in the 1/8. Never had an issue.

Re: Finally got my truck back from the paint shop....

Where did you get the spacers from?

I actually just ordered some brushed/polished wheels, they will take about 6-9 weeks hopefully so i will be getting rid of these soon. I think the brushed will look good against the red.

Thanks for the opinions fellas!

Re: Finally got my truck back from the paint shop....

Looks sweet! But I would change the wheels too, I never liked that style either. Personally I think something a little less blingy, and more old-school, would set the paint off even more - 73-up truck rallies, or Camaro style rallies. Maybe some five-spoke Cragars. Just my two cents of course!
