Trans Crossmember?

I finally got the cab off my frame and noticed this trans crossmember was cut by the previous owner, I plan on running an auto so can I remove this crossmember? It looks like it is just for the 3 spd but I am new to these trucks.
The truck is a 69 C10 with 400 sbc and 3 spd trans.

Yes, you can remove it. It is for manual trans only. I removed the one in my '67 Panel Truck with the body on and it is a lot of work that way.
