I can't see your photo so I'll ask.
Is it the outer shell you want done? Do a search for Polishing the Grill and Trim, and you can get the steps to do it yourself. That way you save a lot of money, and can say you did it yourself. |

Re: 1970 c10 grill help..
Unless you have a lot more luck than I did, finding a company that will anodize that grill again is going to be cost prohibitive. I asked this same question on here two or three years ago.
What I did was have a blaster media blast it (using crushed glass) which will remove the anodizing and leave a strikingly silver appearance. It will require regular polishing but that's no big deal. I had a polisher in New Kinsington, MD do mine, but that did require a 14 hour round trip drive. I'd check on finding a blaster that also does media blasting (sand will destroy it) and you may have to do what I did, get someone familiar with fine silverware and thus, not abuse the thin aluminum. You will also have to do your headlight surrounds as these are aluminum also. |

Sand it and polish it yourself. Then coat it with permaclear and you're good to go. Mine took a Saturday afternoon
That's what I did. Worked great.

I think the stock finish is called "Bright dip". If you find a place that plates, straitens and bright dips you will have a stock look. You have to use the word bright dip not anodize
