It's All Down Hill From Here (72 C10 Resto)

My grandson and I have been restoring it for a little over a year now. We just got her out of paint jail and I feel as if we've crested the summit. Now comes the fun part; putting all the Bling on her.

Re: It's All Down Hill From Here (72 C10 Resto)

More progress this weekend.
I had to pull the bed away from the cab because the painter forgot to tighten the bolts. The bed slammed into the back of the cab and put a good (Bad) dent on the driver's side. I fixed the dent but still have not situated the bed yet.
Only a few more things to do...

There's a funny story behind that. Before the windshield was installed the cat would get into the cab and sleep. That "Dirt" is kitty paw prints. You have to look closely to see the kitty nose smash print above the paw prints. I don't think she will try that again.

Re: It's All Down Hill From Here (72 C10 Resto)

Wow! Great looking truck. I REALLY like the Rally wheels and center caps without the trim rings! Makes the tiny 15" rim appear larger; once you put trim rings on your fresh painted rim is scratched and if you never put trim rings on, you'll never loose one!

P.S. I hope your grandson is willing to donate some of that hair for a good cause? I donated my hair two times to "Locks of Love" for wigs for cancer patients.

Great looking truck! Very cool project to work on with your grandson. Will it be his truck when it's done?

So, all we have left is to run it to the muffler shop for an exhaust system and take her out for a few shake down runs.
