Disc brake tie rod question
I have a 1970 gmc c20. I'm upgrading to front disc brakes, I have drop spindles for 71 n up. I know I need to get year correct ball joints, can I just update the whole steering linkage to 71 n up? Thanks

Re: Disc brake tie rod question
We have a adjust sleeve that will convert from a early inner to later outer. It is 5/8" on the inside and 11/16" on the outside. No need to change all the linkage, and can just update your tie rod ends.

Re: Disc brake tie rod question
That is my original plan was to use to the conversion sleeve but was curious if I could just use later year components since I am putting new linkage in anyway.

Re: Disc brake tie rod question
Using all later components will work as well.
