1987-91 K5/Burb rear gate power window kit w/auto down!
It's been a pretty busy week and weekend! I've got a few of these shipping out so I thought I'd share my latest harness creation for sale! This is a complete dash switch to rear motor replacement harness kit but integrated with HD 40A relay upgrade AND auto down! The dash switch nows merely triggers rhe relays which are ded by a fused 25A 8ga power feed which pulls power from the firewall +12V junction block. Nobody else offers a replacement harness let alone with relay upgrade and auto down! Price for this kit is $275 plus shipping. Included are all the correct fuse panel feeds, frame and chassis grounds, switch connector, cut-out switch connector and new leads running to your override switch.
Because the override switch connector so far is an obsolete part, you will need to retain the over-ride switch connector-I have included terminals and connectors to easily splice your 3 leads to my harness and as usual my wiring is color coded for easy identification. If you opt to not use the override switch feature-simply leave it dis-connected. The relay bank and module have plenty of lead length for you to find a suitable spot inside the tailgate to mount them. Let me know if you have any questions! |

Re: 1987-91 K5/Burb rear gate power window kit w/auto down!
Here's a little video I took of it-the old window motor for demo purposes is from a late 70's TA and is the same style of motor as the gate motor. In the video you can hear the wormgear activate on both the relay power up as well as the relay/module auto down too. Its a fairly tricky harness to design but that part is done-now its a plug n play offering-I've built these before but only recently have I nailed it down as a factory style harness kit.
