Airbagit
I know this is a touchy subject but i need help figuring out why i dont have enough steering after i installed a airbagit front drop member on my 1986 c20. Now i was wondering if you guys know anyone or have installed one on your own vehical and have run into this problem. Now ive tried taking to customer service and they dont know sh*t. Any help or ideas would greatly be appreciate. Please keep the lashings to a minimum. My truck needs a open walmart parking lot to make a complete turn. My first power rack from airbagit only had 4.25"of travel, and they said it was fine and obviously its not. So i bought a power rack from speedway and it has 5.87" of travel, now it helped but still not there yet. I havnt had a allinment yet. IDEAS? HELP? ANYTHING IS BETTER THEN NOTHING.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Re: Airbagit
sounds like youve got it figured out...more travel=tighter steering...I've never dealt with a system like you have but if I read right you've got a r&p that has limited travel..proven by the 2nd one you installed....
can you disconnect the rack, manually turn the wheel all the way one way, get a reference mark for measuring, then turn the wheel all the way the other way and see how much travel you need to go lock 2 lock .. ..
