Front Member questions

I know control arms for the c-10, c-20 and c-30 are different but are the actual front engine cradles, cross members, whatever you call it the same between the versions.

For instance can I put a half ton member into a 1 ton truck?

Yes, they are interchangeable. The difference between the 1/2 ton vs the others is the have smaller diameter upper a-arm studs & lack of reinforcement brackets in the frame channel.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
