1967 GMC Coast Coach
I have never seen one of these 3 door pickups before, but have an opportunity to buy one. What are the value of these things?

Re: 1967 GMC Coast Coach
No it is a 3 door short bed truck. From what I have read, it was a company that took the trucks and converted them into custom 2 and 3 door extended cans. I don't know much about them.

Re: 1967 GMC Coast Coach
They are rare, as they were never a production model, but a specialty truck made by fabricators for a niche market of oil field companies, railroads, the Military, utility companies, etc. Usually made from blending a 3-Door Suburban front with a short fleetside bed on a long [longhorn] 3/4 or 1-ton chassis.
Value depends on condition and how much you like the rig.

Re: 1967 GMC Coast Coach
As with any odd vehicle value is very difficult to determine. Not a big following for these. Some folks have built there own and some sell well and others don't. That being said there are highly modified Dodges like this that have sold for six figures. Make it a 4x4 with a Duramax and you may see that kind of money. But that's just my opinion while I sit on the fence.
It is however something I would drag home if I found it. Because it is unlike all the others advertised, truly a RARE 3 door. Thanks for posting this.

Re: 1967 GMC Coast Coach
It does exist... the third door is on the drivers side? It's also not based on the suburban. Definitely not a common truck.

Re: 1967 GMC Coast Coach
That's SOOOO much better looking than the crew cabs that I have seen pictures of that have the dummy wing window in the back because they scabbed two standard cabs together front to back.
