Transmission cooler lines ls swap

I did an Ls swap in my c10 and want to run the 03 trans lines to the radiatior. The lines use the quick connect push in fittings. Is there an adapter fitting to accept the quick connect fitting and screw into the radiatior which is 1/2"-20 inverted flare? Thanks for any help I have been searching for the correct thing but no luck so far.

Re: Transmission cooler lines ls swap

is it possible to just cut the quick connect ends off and just flare the line like factory? I ask this because that's what I did to connect the LS power steering lines to the factory steering box.

Re: Transmission cooler lines ls swap

Search dorman 800-605 I looked into these in my swap for the quick connect at the radiator but ended up doing an 45 inverted flare to an adapter fitting. I did use the quick connect on the transmission because I bought the flaring die anyway and had to try it out.

Re: Transmission cooler lines ls swap

Russell makes adapters for the 4l60 and 4l80 that go to -6 definetally the best way to run transmission lines. I tried using factory type but the hassle was not worth it.

Be careful if you have a 4l80. They fittings are specific to lube rear center support
