I broke this, now how do I fix it?

I just finished replacing the body mounts as well as the radiator mounts, and somewhere along the way I must've snapped this on this lower driver-side fender:

Here's the area backed out (not my truck, only for reference):

Looks like there's a couple bolts nearby, does this come off so I can bolt on a new one? Or do I need to break out the welder, or buy a new fender?

Have to weld it back together. Good thing is you have the other half.

That floor/fender support looks like a can of worms about to open.

That is all supposed to be lapped together with the piece 88fordf150 posted. And it looks like your missing that piece.

Thanks for the info everyone. Looks like I can take off the existing support and weld it back, or buy a new one.

Can of worms, as in a rusty can of worms? I’ll save that for another thread. I don’t see any missing pieces, just broken ones...am I missing something?

Earlier cabs might not have had that brace, 88fordf150 posted a picture of it. I would add that brace if you dont have one on there now. It bolts onto the two bolts and then is spot or plug welded around the fender bolt hole. It stiffens that mount up quite a bit.

Yikes. That makes me nervous about replacing my body bushings. Good luck man.

I recently found these two pieces in a box of parts and wondered where they originally came from so Red's thread is perfect timing, BUT, once again, for some reason, I can't see the posted pictures (just a square and "X"). At any rate, where do they go? exactly?

Bump. Anyone have pics of how that lower fender brace mounts up?
