I won't trade you, lol but I would personally try some 00 steelwool on an inconspicuous spot, if it comes off you can try paint removal chemicals. I'm betting that paint would come right off the headlight and grille trim. The bumper you could try the same, or even have it blasted and rechromed.

Those trims are annodized aluminum, not stainless. They could stripped. The trims around the grill openings come off, but the black steel inserts do not come out unless you drill out the rivets.

Check the trim with a magnet to start just make sure they didn't swap the aluminum ones for steel ones. If you have aluminum ones your good to go with several hours of work.
