1968 c30 no park?
I have a 1968 c 30 with an automatic—- there is no park on column shifter (p) just n-r-d-l2-l1———could the letter p have just fallen off or is there some other reason??

Re: 1968 c30 no park?
Had the same issue on my 69 GMC. They do not have a "parking gear" so to speak. It forces you to turn the wheels in and use the parking brake. I eventually swapped out the steering column to a tilt and changed the transmission so it had a parking pawl and linkage. The current T400 can have the lever and linkage installed, but you will still need a different column

Re: 1968 c30 no park?
A C30 might be equipped with an Allison Hydro, which has no Park, but (I believe) had a drive shaft parking brake drum. What does your SPID say?
Are you sure it's n-r-d-l2-l1, or is it r-n-d-l2-l1?
